Our parents are weavers.....

My siblings and I were born in the weaving workshop.

The weaving workshop has now been transformed into a leather goods production facility.

The old family machinery could only produce low-cost fabric and has long been out of use. The family's weaving tradition, which spanned over 50 years, had to come to an end due to a lack of branding and failure to adopt new technologies.

When I was young, I used to follow my father around the wood warehouses in Saigon to buy materials. In Cho Lon (China town), my father would buy items like steel and bearings. On the way back, we would often stop by Bay Hien weaving village to purchase weaving machine parts.

My father was not only a skilled weaver but also a renowned frame maker. The years spent by his side during my childhood left a deep mark on my soul and greatly influenced the career path I chose later on.

Those memories were not only valuable in skills and knowledge but also an endless of inspiration, helping me understand more about the value of labor and creativity. Thanks to those experiences, I have built a solid foundation for developing my career in the future.

  • 2010 – 2011 The notebook led me into the profession

In May 2010, I attended Thai trade fair at Tan Binh Exhibition Center. With my MUJI spiral notebook always by my side, along with a business-like demeanor, I made a very good impression on Zenith company and was invited to become a distributor for their notebooks shortly thereafter.
  • 2011 – 2013 Notebook Production Made in Vietnam

The historic flood in Thailand at the end of 2011 forced us to seek materials and manufacturers in Vietnam. With strong foreign language skills and experience working with international partners, our company was one of the very few suppliers offering notebooks with PU leather covers imported from Italy. In 2013, the premium Bettino leather notebook was launched and quickly became the top choice for office workers in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to our website, we also received individual orders from customers all over the country. Our regular corporate clients include Prudential, HBBank, MOL, HSBC, Yazaki, Karaoke Nice, and more. Beyond notebooks, we have expanded our business to include a variety of other leather goods.
  • 2013 – 2015 Investing in a Leather Goods Manufacturing Workshop

Our dream is to become a renowned leather goods manufacturer, with our own brand, constantly updating new materials and technologies to avoid the fate of my parents' business in the past. In 2015, we couldn't register exclusive protection for the Bettino brand, so we used this name to register our company. Since then, we have operated under the name Bettino Co., Ltd. Through extensive travel, learning, and support from experienced peers, we have gradually acquired quality materials, advanced machinery, and a dedicated team of skilled workers.
  • 2015 – 2018 Handmade Craftsmanship Application

For those who are not up-to-date the latest knowledge, a handmade leather item might seem rough and unattractive because it’s made by hand. In reality, finely crafted handmade leather goods are far more beautiful than machine-made products. The main differences lie in the stitching and edge finishing. A hand-stitched item always has more character compared to machine stitching. At Bettino, we use machines for cutting and stamping, but all the stitching is done by hand. This method ensures production efficiency due to the speed and precision of machinery while maintaining the exquisite beauty of meticulous hand-stitching. Through relentless efforts, Bettino products have become well-known and loved by many consumers. Our products are also exported to various countries in Europe and America.
  • 2018 – nay Corporate Gift Supplier, Retail and Export

With over 10 years of hands-on experience, Vegetable Tanned Crafts has produced a wide range of products. The company continues to be a leading supplier of leather gifts for businesses. To build our brand, we retail key products such as notebooks, keychains, and office accessories. In 2024, we launched a retail store on Amazon, reaching customers worldwide.
